Huggle Robes: Cosy, Oversized Wearable Blankets

What makes a FLANCI Huggle Robe special?

Our Huggle Robes are built for UK weather and wild adventures – packed with practical features and reflecting our brand's commitment to good quality and the environment, with technical details hidden inside a super-snuggly hug.

• Showerproof & wind-beating outer – A durable, coated outer shell uses advanced silicone coating technologies and PVC for waterproofing, providing protection in light, moderate rain, and even heavy rain so you can hang around on the beach, lakeside or touchline without freezing.
• Super soft sherpa fleece lining – Deep, fluffy fleece is super soft and nice against the skin, helping you feel warm and cozy after a swim or outdoor activity.
• Oversized for easy changing – The robe is nicely large and over sized, big, baggy and boxy so you can pull arms inside and change out of the wet kit without showing more than you meant to. Longer hem lengths and a bit longer sleeves are available for those with long arms or who want more coverage.
• Two-way front zip – Zip down from the top or up from the bottom to give extra room to move while changing or walking. The zip is designed for people with cold hands and is easy to use even when your hands are cold.
• Serious pocket game
• Waterproof zipped inner pocket with headphone slot for your phone or keys
• Large internal stash pocket for dry clothes or a hot water bottle
• Two roomy, zipped outer pockets act as hands warmers to keep your hands warm and are large enough to store items and essentials
• Adjustable velcro cuffs – Zip them wide for airflow or cinch them in with velcro cuffs for easy adjustment when the wind picks up.

Other features list:

• Spacious hood for warmth and protection
• Customisable hem length options, with longer hem lengths available (10cm, 15cm, or 20cm) for extra coverage
• Designed to be worn after swimming or outdoor activities

Designed with FLANCI’s “Every Body Out There” ethos in mind, Huggle Robes are available from XS to XXL, with an intentionally generous fit so you can move freely and layer up underneath. If you’re between sizes, most customers choose to go down a size for the best fit.

Your colourful alternative to a dry robe

Most changing robes are plain, dark and a bit dull. FLANCI Huggle Robes let you stay warm and show off your personality. Choose from playful animal prints, bold geometrics, florals, stars and limited-edition designs to match your leggings, skorts or favourite FLANCI print.

Whether you’re a cold-water swimmer, paddleboarder, surfer, camper, runner or dog-walker, there’s a Huggle Robe pattern with your name on it.

Huggle Robes FAQs

What is a Huggle Robe?

A Huggle Robe is a waterproof, fleece-lined changing robe that lets you get warm, dry and changed in privacy after swimming, running, paddling or walking in the great outdoors. It’s like a colourful dry-robe-style coat with extra room and extra cosy details.

Are Huggle Robes waterproof?

Huggle Robes use a coated outer fabric designed to keep out wind and rain. The material is tested to a 1500mm hydrostatic head, which means it can withstand typical wet UK conditions and sudden showers while you’re out and about.

How should I choose my size?

They’re made to be roomy. Most people can comfortably size down from their usual coat size and still have space to change underneath. If you like a very oversized feel or plan to wear thick layers, stick to your normal size. Always refer to the FLANCI sizing charts for measurements.

Can I wear my Huggle Robe every day?

Absolutely. Lots of FLANCI customers use their Huggle Robes on school runs, dog walks, camping trips, festivals and chilly evenings in the garden – not just after swimming or sport. It’s a genuinely useful everyday layer whenever you want warmth and weather protection.

How do I wash and care for my Huggle Robe?

Always follow the care label inside your robe. In general, treat it like a technical waterproof: use a cool wash, avoid fabric softeners and harsh detergents, and let it air-dry rather than tumble drying to help protect the waterproof coating and fleece lining.
